Friends Forever

I made this cake for a school friend of mine who I met after 30 years. I made the gum paste dolls clad in uniform as it's been that long since we had seen each other.


The brick wall is made with rice Krispies covered in gum paste. The flavor of the cake is chocolate ganache and the cherries and leaves are made with marzipan. SJC stands for St. Joseph's Convent School :)I made little books and put down the year when I was in elementary school. I got so emotional doing the art work for this cake that it brought tears to my eyes.

I didn't realize how time had flown and I tried to go back in time by baking and decorating this cake :) It was a great reunion and I named my cake "Reunion and Friend's Forever"

You made a beautiful cake, with a sweet concept, my daughters loved it, this cake gave them a sweet piece of their memory. The logo looks like professional, they really got excited. Below are my comments i put on my f.book.

Very romantic in a friends forever way...
The cake is decorated with passion..
of two girls as they play...
the details of a long ago fashion...
remarkably creative in an incredible way.

Is it possible for one to fall in love...
before a physical date..
